Last year was my first year at the Great American Beer Festival and I had no idea what to expect at the time. Sure, I’ve been to plenty of festivals before, but certainly none that came close to the size of GABF. Even more so I was totally unprepared for the effect that GABF had on the entire city of Denver. So to help get ready for the festival this year, here’s a few “do’s”



Thinking Beyond Beer with the LA Cider Fest

While Portland, San Francisco and Seattle have been hosting cider festivals for years, LA Cider Fest will be the first one for Los Angeles

My home – the province of Ontario in Canada – is a prominent apple growing region and combined with the English influence on Canadian culture we have a pretty strong hard cider market. For as long as I can remember, Strongbow was a staple on taps in Toronto but over the last few years that’s changed as craft cideries have started to pop up – creating incredibly dry and complex ciders that make the big
