Cask Ale (Cask-Conditioned Ale): Unfiltered and unpasteurised beer which is conditioned (including secondary fermentation) and served from a cask without additional nitrogen or carbon dioxide pressure.

LA: (Los Angeles):
The most populous city in the U.S. state of California, second-most populous in the United States and the seat of Los Angeles County, incorporating areas such as West Hollywood, Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, Santa Monica, Long Beach, etc.

Cask Ale LA exists to promote Cask, craft and real ale in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.

Cask Ale LA was started by Aaron Champion, who relocated from Toronto to Los Angeles in 2013 and found it difficult to track down the delicious real ales that he was accustomed to back in Ontario. He created Cask Ale LA as a way to solve this problem for himself and others at the same time.
